The newspaper is largely a stream of text drawn from up to date (the paper is printed the night before the show) spam e mails to the artist, with the specific sales
pitch of the message mostly removed, to leave only the language used to get past the filters. Other texts are buried, or parasited back, into the spam.
Edition 1 of the paper featured contributions by Sam Lewitt and Ryan Holmberg. Edition five had contributions from Nick Crowe and Martin Vincent.
Some of the text was later used within the book project Fair Use (notes from spam) within the section titled "The Wire".
